Salman Khan warns Shahrukh Khan for Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Everyone knows that both Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardar will release on the same day. But superstar Salman Khan has come in full support of Ajay Devgn's SOS. Salman Khan, who has also shot a special song (Po Po) for Son Of Sardar with Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt, openly warned Shahrukh Khan through micro-blogging site Twitter.
Salman Khan wrote, "Pathan Ke Yaar Se Panga Mat lena. Sorry yaar..Diwali bekaar without Son of Sardaar."
A source told a leading daily, "The tweet is clearly a dig at SRK. Salman is referring to himself as the Pathan and Ajay is his friend. He is obviously promoting Ajay's Diwali blockbuster ahead of Yash Chopra's romantic film which incidentally stars his nemesis SRK."
The source adds, "While one thought that Salman would not side with anyone given his equation with the film's leading lady Katrina Kaif and his new found equation with the YRF banner, Sallu being Sallu has gone ahead and expressed support for his friend Ajay in this much talked about clash."

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's wedding canceled?
There is a strong buzz in tinsel town that Kareena Kapoor has canceled her December 2012 wedding (the date was October 2012 earlier) with Saif Ali Khan as she wants to focus on her career. It was revealed that the couple will marry in 2012, but now it is said that both Saif and Kareena want to focus on their respective careers this year.
Rumour has it that Kareena Kapoor is feeling insecure as she thinks marriage can ruin her Bollywood career. That is why she has asked beau Saif to postpone the wedding till next year as this year she only wants to focus on her career.
Reportedly, Sanjay had dropped Kareena from Ram Leela because he did not want a married actress to play the role of Juliet in the movie. But sources claim that when Sanjay Leela Bhansali came to know that Kareena is not getting married this year, he signed Kareena Kapoor in Ram Leela again.
Also, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor never spoke about their wedding seriously. In fact, Saif did not leave any opportunity to fool the media by changing wedding date and venue time and again.

Veteran actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha’s angry performances must have created a horrifying impact on his daughter Sonakshi Sinha so much that the actress got petrified while performing an item number on stage in front of his father seated in the first row.
Sonakshi, who is going bolder these days, was seen performing on an item song on stage. She was all confident about her performance but poor daughter did not had any inkling about facing her father seated in front row and went all sweating while dance.
She was doing her best in flaunting her jhatkas but got petrified and all conscious suddenly when she eyed her father Shatrughan Sinha sitting in the front row. The occasion was some award night where Sonakshi was about to tap her feet and shake her belly on an item number.
Sonakshi, who is in double demand these days after delivering two constant blockbusters, would be next seen in Dabangg 2, Joker and Son of Sardar.
She might have gone bolder and more beautiful and even might be thinking to expose in her upcoming but when it comes to facing parents, Sonakshi gets shaking and trembling assuming what he father would say about it.
Though the actress performed well and ended the performance with a good note and was wooed by audience but we are still all ears for the shots shot by papa Shotgun.

“It’s a complete no-no to bikini because I am not that kind of a person. I have been bought up in a certain way. I have certain restrictions that I follow and I don’t see any reason to change it because if the audience has accepted me fully clothed, then why would I resort to it?” said Sonakshi Sinha.
The 24-year-old will soon be seen in her upcoming film Rowdy Rathore in her desi avatar. She is said to be continuing the same desi look in the rest of the films too. The desi look will carry on in Joker, Once Upon a Time Again, Dabangg 2, Son Of Sardar and Lootera.

Sonakshi also revealed that she will never do a very bold scene like the one Vidya Balan did in The Dirty Pictures.
“It was a great film and Vidya’s performance was fantastic. I respect her so much as an actress after that film, but it takes guts to do something like that. I don’t think I will be able to pull it off with the restrictions that I have,” she said.

Big B helps farmers pay off their debts
The plight of farmers across India is not unknown. A number of farmers in India commit suicide as they are unable to pay paltry loans. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has played the good Samaritan endless number of times onscreen, has been doing his bit in helping out the farmers in India.
Big B, who doesn't like to tom-tom about his generous gestures, feels deeply for the Indian farmers and recently paid off the debts of around 115 farmers belonging to Maharashtra's Wardha district. He reportedly donated Rs. 30 lakhs to an NGO to pay off the bank loans of these 115 farmers.
This is not the first time Big B has helped the farmers out of their misery. Eight years ago when he was shooting for Anil Sharma's Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyon in Vishakapatnam, he heard about the plight of many farmers who were ending their lives as they couldn't repay measly loans of Rs 10,000 - 20,000. At that time, Bachchan came forward and immediately paid off the debt of 40 such farmers.

Salman Khan to clash with old rival Vivek Oberoi again
The Salman Khan-Vivek Oberoi episode, a few years back had caused a sensation in the tinsel town. Though the controversy has diluted down for quite sometime now, the buzz is rife that Salman and Vivek are all set to lock horns again.
But, this time the duo actors might clash with each other in respect of their upcoming films. Salman Khan had been shooting for Ek Tha Tiger abroad along with his girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Sallu would also work in brother Sohail Khan's Sher Khan. Interestingly, Vivek will start shooting for Sher this month and the film might get released around the same time as Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger.
Why Vidya Balan doesn't want to work with Shahid Kapoor and John Abraham?
Vidya Balan has rejected the Hindi remake of the film Vettai because of Shahid Kapoor. Reportedly, Tamil director Linguswamy suggested Vidya Balan's name for Vettai, but Vidya's beau Siddharth Roy Kapoor rejected the offer by saying the role wouldn’t do justice to Vidya's talent as an actress.
According to insiders, Siddharth Roy Kapoor is very possessive about Vidya Balan and the reason behind this is Vidya's rumoured affair with Shahid Kapoor during the making of Kismet Konnection.
Not only this, rumour has it that she has turned down Sanjay Gupta and Ekta Kapoor’s joint venture for a similar reason because she did not want to be paired opposite John Abraham due to strong reports of their link up while shooting Salaam-E-Ishq.

Salman Khan acting immature Or What?
We had reported a few days ago that Salman Khan had apparently asked for a rupee more than his arch rival Shahrukh Khan. Considering that both Shahrukh and Salman are very successful, there seems no reason why any of the Khans should feel insecure and sort to such immature behaviour.
If rumours of Salman Khan having asked for a rupee more than Shahrukh Khan from filmmaker Aditya Chopra is true, then it's indeed unfortunate that an actor as popular and admired as Salman Khan would want to satisfy his ego in such a fashion!
As for the fans of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, it really doesn't matter who earns more. They will stick to their favourite actor as long as the stars continue to entertain them!
Salman Khan kicks out cinematographer from Dabangg 2
When it comes to a Salman Khan film, it is necessary for his cast and crew members to match up to his mind set and interests. Talking about Sallu's much-awaited project Dabangg 2, the team faced a similar situation after the actor kicked cinematographer Senthil Kumar out of the project.
It has been reported that Arbaaz Khan was highly impressed by Kumar's work in Telugu films like Yamadonga, Arundhati and Magadheera, hence Kumar was roped in for Dabangg 2. But Salman was somehow not very happy with Kumar's style of work.
Salman has recently roped in cinematographer Aseem Kumar for Dabangg 2, a replacement for Senthil Kumar. Aseem, who has worked for Salman's Ek Tha Tiger, has impressed the actor very much. Reportedly, Aseem will start working from tomorrow

Ranbir Kapoor goes under the knife
Ranbir Kapoor who has been winning awards and accolades for his performance in Rockstar went through an operation at Breach Candy hospital yesterday morning. Surgeon Dr Rushad T Udwadia had to surgically remove a cyst on the actor's back.
A close friend of Ranbir confirmed the news and added, "Ranbir has been operated for a sebaceous gland problem. The surgery was minor."
In fact Ranbir was discharged only a few hours after the surgery took place. Mumbai Mirror learnt that the actor was home by 12 noon. According to the friend, Ranbir will even be able to resume work whenever he wants. "His Barfi! schedule was cancelled for a few days since his co-star Ileana was down with food poisoning. Ranbir can resume the schedule if he wants," added the friend.
Explaining how a cyst can form owing to a sebaceous gland, a doctor (on request of anonymity) told Mumbai Mirror, "Such cysts are not dangerous. But if not removed, they can grow and cause a lot of discomfort. They are formed generally when a sebaceous gland in one's body gets blocked."
The surgery is only a minor glitch in Ranbir's current happy state, said the friend. "Ranbir has been collecting awards for his flawless performance in Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar. He hasn't signed a film after Rockstar, but he is reading scripts. But he should be signing a big one soon," added the friend.
When contacted, Dr Rushad was tight-lipped about Ranbir's surgery. However, an official from Breach Candy Hospital (on request of anonymity) confirmed saying, "Yes, Ranbir was admitted in our hospital on Thursday morning. He had a cyst in his back. We did the needful under the guidance of Dr Rushad."

James Bond film makers cancel India shoot
James Bond likes his martini shaken, not stirred, on his perilous adventures. But even as Daniel Craig dodges bullets and overcomes obstacles in the new Bond film, Skyfall, the Hollywood star missed his date with India due to budget cuts.
Apparently, producers EON and Sony Pictures have

had to slash their budget dramatically, resulting in them scrapping plans to shoot in six exotic countries including India and Bali. UK-based paper Daily Mirror also reports that instead of distant locations, they (makers) are using various UK beaches. Another UK paper Metro reports that Skyfall has suffered from a series of delays after film studio MGM filed for bankruptcy.
Although director Sam Mendes confirmed that the film is due to be shot in the UK, China and Turkey, reports suggest that makers have decided to scale back and use only Turkey as the main foreign location. It’s also believed that Skyfall will rely heavily on SFX, and locales recreated at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, UK.
Initially, the 23rd James Bond thriller was to be shot in Mumbai, Goa and Gujarat, besides featuring a few action sequences on Indian trains. Apparently, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and railways officials had already cleared all the permissions applied for by line producer India Take One Productions.
Ask Pravesh Sahni of the Indian production house if budget cuts forced Bond makers to pull out, and he says: “I don’t want to comment about the Bond film. Whatever happened is in the past. Now, we are looking towards the future and new films.” When contacted, Steve Elzer, senior vice president (media relations) of Sony Pictures Entertainment “chose not to comment on rumours.”
Interestingly, 1983’s Octopussy, which was the 13th film in the Bond franchise, saw a few scenes filmed in India. Starring Roger Moore as Bond, it had an action sequence filmed on, and under, an Indian train. Although makers haven’t yet commented on the current film’s budget, it’s estimated to be around $150 million, down from the $200 million spent on Quantum of Solace (2008).
Producer Michael Wilson, at a press conference, states that “Skyfall is in the same (price) range as the last film, and we really haven’t had to change anything in the script. We haven’t had to sacrifice anything.”

Aamir Khan to launch Jackie Shroff's son?
Aamir Khan meet Jackie Shroff in Mahabaleshwar hill resort last week to finalise plans to launch Jackie's son Tiger? Jackie didn't confirm it, but said that to be launched by Aamir would be a big privilege for his son.
"Aamir and I have known each another for years. We're fond of one another. I was shooting for Ananth Mahadevan's 'Life's Good' in Mahabaleshwar. Aamir has a home there. He dropped in to see me twice. As far as launching Tiger goes, I'd be really happy if it happens," said Jackie.
Even Subhash Ghai has shown a keen interest in the boy. In fact, Ghai's interest goes back to Tiger's childhood when he had made a pledge he would launch his friend and discovery Jackie's son whenever the boy was ready to take the plunge.
But now there is a very interesting twist in Tiger's tale, with Bollywood's resident maverick-producer Aamir showing a keen interest in launching Tiger.
When asked about his son, Jackie said: "Tiger has turned out...decent. Hasn't he? Yes, he has met Aamir Khan. To be launched by Aamir would be a big privilege. Aamir is very fine producer, actor and human being. My boy would be in great hands. However, Subhashji is also very keen. Do you know he had done Ayesha and mine kanyaadan? To unka Tiger pe haq banta hai. Let's see..."
After playing bit roles in Dev Anand's 'Swami Dada', Jackie got his big break with Subhash Ghai's 'Hero'.
Reminiscing about his own launch, the 51-year-old chuckles, "Tiger has it all laid out in front of him. When I had come into the industry, I had no one to guide me. If Subhashji had not given me a break, I wonder what would've happened to me!"

Jackie makes cameo appearance in Rajini's film
Anything for Rajinikanth, says Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, who has made a cameo appearance in the legendary Tamil actor's new film 'Kochadaiyyan'.
"Rajiniji's daughter Soundarya is directing the film with her dad in the lead. So sweet! She asked me to make a cameo appearance in the film with her father. I immediately flew down to Chennai. When it comes to anything to do with Rajinikanth, one doesn't ask questions. One just does the needful," said Jackie.
"It's an interesting cameo which Soundarya insisted only I could play. I believe the film is in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. But even if it was in Swahili, I'd run and do it for Rajinikanth," added the actor who turned 52 Wednesday.
He had to rush to Chennai for the shoot and said: "My birthday is generally a very quiet affair. As always my rakhi-sister Anna Singh came home. Then we went to Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza's sangeet. That's where I brought in my birthday. I flew into Chennai for Rajiniji's film early next morning. I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday."
Getting a little philosophical, Jackie said: "Honestly a birthday is no big deal. I am just beginning to understand life. My first 40 years went into growing up. Now I am finally getting to know what this whole business of living is all about."
Jackie and Rajini go back a long way.
"He was one of the few people at my wedding with Ayesha when we got married in 1989. Rajiniji and I were shooting for Subhash Ghai's 'Uttar Dakshin', in which he played my younger stepbrother. It was so much fun. I was the North Indian, he was my South Indian brother.
"During the lunch break Ayesha and I decided to get married. Just the two of us and those close to us. There was Rajiniji, Subhash Ghai, Dimple Kapadia, Anupam Kher and a few of my other friends, that's it. So you see, I've very fond memories of Rajnikanth and would never say no to anything to do with him or his family," said the actor.

Films can bring countries together: Farhan Akhtar
Director-actor Farhan Akhtar, whose last film 'Don 2' was not only shot in Germany but was co-produced by a German company says such collborations can bring countries together.
The 38-year-old filmmaker said that the film which has been co-produced by Mathias Schwerbrock, is the first actual co-production in Bollywood.
"It is the first time that a foreign national has directly been associated with an Indian motion puicture. It is a first of it's kind. Films that are shot in foreign location not only add up to the story but also helps in strengthening ties between two countries. 'Don 2' is a product from two major film producing countries," Farhan said.
'Don 2' will be screened at Berlin International Film Festival, on the third day of the 11 day event and is also scheduled to release in German cinemas on Febraury 16.
"It feels great that the film will be screened in Berlin. The whole cast and crew had a wonderful time shooting there. The local crew did open the doors for us. Once we were together on making the film, they proved to be extremely helpful," he said.
The director also said that he zeroed down Berlin as the location for the film because he wanted the city to be on the Bollywood screens.
"When I came to Berlin on holiday in 2007 I was amazed and overwhelmed by the spirit of the city and most excited to see the mix of architecture, politics, music, cinema and all the signs of a healthy cultural life. Just like my character, 'Don', this city is avante garde and cutting edge. Two reasons for me coming here - Berlin is the right location for my film and Berlin has to be on the Bollywood screens," he said.

MohanLAL-"THE RISK TAKER"
While shooting for Naran lal jumped in to the Hogenakkal river, which had deep undercurrents & also the threat of crocodile attacks. For the film Mahasamudram lal had travelled miles in to deep see & stayed there in the boat for hours together for shooting a climax fight sequence which is the highlight of the film.Dear fans,The risk taking attitude of lal is another albutham
Mohan lal {The actor who gave an Different face to Malayalam&Indian Films}
Mohanlal, the action king once again shows his dedication by taking breathless action sequence without dupe for a 20 floor building to building jump in his latest malayalam movie casanovva. We bet you, there is none other Superstar in Indian film industry to take such risks other than our dearest lalettan.
We are very proud sir to have a wonderful actor like you and you have once again proved that why you are standing still in Indian Film Industry without any replacement.
Mohanlal fans not amused by Saroj Kumar
Fans of Megastar Mohanlal are not at all amused by Sreenivasan's latest film Padmasree Bharath Dr. Saroj Kumar.
Though Sreenivasan says that his character is neither modeled on Mammootty or Mohanlal, it cannot be denied that Saroj Kumar has an uncanny resemblance to Mohanlal.
The actor is shown trying hard to grab a lieutenant colonel post, and the income tax officials find bull horns in his house during a raid, that the media on the actor's insistence transform into elephant tusks.
So many are these coincidences that coming from Sreenivasan's pen, they do look very surprising. No wonder admirers of Mohanlal find very little to laugh in this film.
Malayalam actor denies his film mocks superstar Mohanlal
Pa
Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 22 (IANS) Malayalam actor-cum-script writer Sreenivasan has refuted media reports that his latest film "Padmasree Bharath Dr Saroj Kumar" shows superstar Mohanlal in poor light.
Sreenivasan plays the lead role in the film. Since the film's release a week back, he has time and again said that it told a tale in simple humour.
"This film is not at all a second part or a sequel of the block buster 'Udayanannu Tharam' that strarred Mohanlal. In the present film, there is no character of Udayabhanu (essayed by Mohanlal in 'Udayanannu Tharam') and his wife," he told reporters.
The film is different from 'Udayanannu Tharam' as the story line is different because Udayabhanu's story ended in the first film itself, Sreenivasan told reporters.
The latest film directed by debutant Sajin Raghavan takes a dig at the never ending feuds between the numerous film-based organisations in the Malayalam film industry.
Antony Perumbavoor, Mohanlal's business associate in all film-related business ventures, came out against "Udayanannu Tharam" and called up the film's cinematographer S. Kumar.
S. Kumar told reporters that he got a call from Antony and he was not happy with the manner in which the film allegedly took on Mohanlal.
"He told me that at least I should have not allowed these veiled barbs against Mohanlal. I asked him why he is saying all this to me because I am only a cameraman," Antony said.
"I told him to speak to the producer or director or others who are behind the film," said Kumar.
Director Major Ravi, whose films 'Keerthi Chakra' and 'Kurukshetra' that starred Mohanlal in a character wearing army uniform, termed the events as sad.
"These two people have been in films and they act together. Doing like this is not good," he said.
Mohanlal in a Shankar movie
Yes, this is big news...Superstar Mohanlal is all set to play the lead in the new movie by the biggest showman of south, Shankar, the director who has plenty of fans in the state. The more surprising fact is that this will be Shankar's first movie in Malayalam. This movie to be made by Aascar films Ravichandran will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu also.
The Tamil version is already titled as 'Thalaivan Irukkindran' and will feature Universal star Kamal Hassan in the lead. The Telugu version will have Prabhas as the hero. As per the early reports Kathrina Kaif will play the female lead in all the three versions.
Another highlight of the movie will be that Hollywood star Jackie Chan will also become a part of these three versions. Watch this space to know more details about the movie which will have A R Rahman as the music director.

Casanovva-Its Stylish
A man who flies across countries with deadly vibes that can arrest any women.... A man who heads an international flower trading company rightly named 'Eternal spring', who is often received by loads of pretty women from many cultures and colours shamelessly holding the placards and breathlessly waiting at airports to have him.... A womaniser who knows every number of the book to bring any beauty to his adoring servitude....Playing to the immortal title is Roshan Andrews 'Casanovva', one of the most stylish films ever to hit Mollywood screens.
The movie opens with the arrival of this rich and flamboyant Casanova, whose original name is never ever spelt on screen. As he comments, this name had been cast on him, which he decided to make his own by playing to its demands. 'Casanovva' with his gang of young girls who are also his employees, always following the leader in their swanky cards, is now at Dubai to attend the marriage of a millionaire's daughter.
In the other track is four young hi-tech, 'hi-flying 'robbers with acrobatic skills (Abhisekh, Shamsi, Arjun and Vikram)who had been the executors of some huge heists of high selling antiques and money, which helped them to earn huge cash. After a big heist in a monastery, the foursome are plotting plans to make some more from the rich men' attending the marriage, but the Interpol' is also in the close heels to locate them. They now pretend as the gang men of 'Casanova' and join the functions. But the brainy 'Casanova', who easily identifies them, has got other plans for the bad boys. And as he starts playing the cards to unsettle these youngsters with pranks of love, with the aid of rich Hanna (Lakshmi Rai) and Ann Mary (Roma) and a TV show named 'Fall in love' ,we are also reminded of the old scores that the playboy has got to settle with them.
The biggest highlight of the movie is the scale in which it is made, with the plush cars, number of choppers , great locales, chartered planes and beautiful ladies all contributing to the finest looks ever in Mollywood, that may match the league to visual stunners of Bollywood. Yes, this is an invitation from Mollywood that contest the big league of commercial players of India. The technical sides are top notch with Jim Ganesh contributing some finest visuals to the journey. Slick editing by Mahesh Narayanan also elevates the movie. But this cannot be told about the story lines, which indeed appear good in the initial reels. The first half pretty matches the expectations from the biggie, but in the later half while dealing with the lead man's original love with a salsa dancer named Sameera (Shriya Saran) who transforms him to a romantic than a womanizer, 'Casanovva' looks sulky and strained a bit. And since it is the first movie to appear in Mollywood with a totally distant thread and shot entirely in foreign locales, the movie does not pay heed to traditional meticulous demand of on lookers for logic, in each and every scene. Some of the dialogues penned by Sanjay-Bobby looks inviting enough as it matches the off screen image that the lead star propagates all through. The songs by three music directors just fit the bill, though the 'Alphonse track' Hey manohara theerame...' is a foot tapping material. The BG scores and theme score by Gopi sundar are also impressive.
Mohanlal is in his stylish best in the movie, though his acting capabilities are not put into test anywhere. He makes an easy walk through the role and play safe in many thrilling scenes too. Shreya Sharan and Riyas Khan has got a role to remember while Jagathy Sreekumar, Sankar, and Roma are in passable roles. The actors donning the roles of four robbers and Lakshmi Rai are in stylish attires and fill the little space that doesn't have Mohanlal on screen.
'Casanovva' is one film that may satisfy the fans of the star and those who like technically sound, slickly made films. With those entire fine chases, action and thrills, the movie is hopefully prescribed for a one time watch for all the new generation viewers. And for others, there may be criticisms for giving importance to style over substance.
